But we've got no history...

It's what annoys me about the redshirts definition of history being trophies...

Second season in division 2, sixth highest crowd in the country sums it up!

Yes all conveniently forgotten by the worldwide online fanbases of our rivals most of who'm have never set foot in England never mind the stadium of the club they are supposed to support.

Our fanbase back then was bloody magnificent. Eccentric, loud, loyal and defiant, some would say bloody mad and I wouldn't disagree. Often mediocre on the pitch we were world champions on the terraces. Never forget that.

MEN are at it again with another clicks for dicks article which I haven't clicked on. Apparently Diddie Drogba reckons an ex Chelsea player who scored less than 50 goal is better than Haaland. Whichever numpty wrote that shite should be sacked.

Which player?

I can't put articles on here but....
I know we slag the Guardian but today they have done a brilliant article about the inflatable banana craze.
It's worth a read and is bound to make you smile.

That boxing day game at Stoke was a bit special.
We had a van full of fully dressed Gorillas, including the driver, with
Inflatable bananas hanging out the windows.
The looks we got from non City fans on the M6 will live long in the memory.
Happy days.

Fantastic times and, in many ways, it is what makes the last few years even better.
In a season short on anything approaching quality football, I only missed one game that season. Obviously, it was Huddersfield at home…..

Stoke away. 12k away on boxing day at the Victoria ground was insane
Plymouth away. Sure we did it twice in a week and one was called off when we got to Rugby.
Oldham away when Megson scored in our burgundy and white striped kit. We were all over that day with the bananas, pink panthers etc.

It's become too sanitized and regulated now.
12k decide to fuck a family Christmas off, they are going to Stoke..... in fancy dress...... with a 10 foot inflatable.
No one organised it. OK supporters clubs organised individual coaches, 50 people max but for 12k people to travel to an away match is insane.
