Albany, Georgia Katie C. Johnson 2024 Katie C. Johnson, age 96, of Dougherty County, passed away peacefully the morning of February 7, 2024. Committed to the education of children, Katie dedicated 66 years of her life of God's lambs-38 years of teaching in various school systems and 31 years as Director of Lamb Shelter Day Care. Following retirement at the age of 92, she remained an active member of Emanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church. Services will be 1:30pm Sunday February 18, 2024 at Emanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Albany, GA.
